I got exhausted, full-on mind and body exhausted, and blogging two thousand words a day didn’t help. It was fun, but it became almost maniacal, and in the end I burned out. So I’m having a bit of a rest, from everything, to try to get some perspective back. I started practicing mindfulness a few years back without realising what it was, but recently I got too overwhelmed to remember to do it. This article popped into my inbox this morning, and reminded me that what I really needed to do was get my zen back. So that’s what I am starting to do. It’s a very good article, and I highly recommend it.
